Transcend Newsletter V: Our Fellows, Community Management and new opportunities đ
This week we announced our final list of fellows for the Transcend Fellowship, more opportunities from exciting organizations and insights from the space.
We are also launching the Transcend Chats series with thought leaders that share their experience in sectors we are watching closely: in June, weâll have Mariya Illarionova talking about community building and working remotely. Sign up here to attend the online discussion on June 26th!
If you enjoy this newsletter, please forward it to friends that might enjoy it too! And know we are one email away, anytime. Find more about our work on our Transcend Network website and Medium.
"Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn." If kids got to design their own courses, theyâd probably look a lot like Outschoolâs, who just raised a Series A financing round.

Humans are inherently short-term thinkers and our investing structures reflect this: reports such as Ark Investâs fantastic Disruptive Innovation overview allow us to look into the future from the perspective of technological progress.
Kamesh Darisipudi - âI'm a recent engineering graduate from Georgia Tech starting full time at Salesforce! In the meantime, I'm currently working at Workclout, a YC startup from the Winter 2019 cohort. Would love to connect if you're interested in venture capital, tech, or for any reason in particular!â
Michael Yang - âI recently graduated from Minerva Schools and studied computer science & philosophy. Excited to make trendy computer science topics boring again. Let's connect if you want to talk about CS research or teaching, or if you're hiring for curriculum development positions!â
